Shirley Fields, born May 4, 1966 departed this life on Tuesday-July 14, 2026 at the Hazard Arh Medical Center, being 60-years old. Shirley was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Gillis Thacker and the late Madeline Fisher, other than her parents Shirley was also preceded in death by her brother: Gillis Ray Thacker; and grandparents, Ima Jean Thacker and Clinton Thacker. Shirley was a loving mother, who loved all children as her own.

Shirley leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory; husband, Mason Fields; sons, Jason Fields, Justin Fields(Tiffany), David Lewis, Clinton Thacker; daughters, Bridgett Thacker(Tommy Gayhart), Tiffany Thacker (Eric King), Heather Thacker( Preston Rice), Cheyenne Lewis, Chas Combs- Sattich; brothers, Clinton Thacker (Lorie), Odell Thacker, Jamie Daniels (Helen); sister, Annie Hamblin;  also a host of grandchildren and nieces and nephews, and other friends and family survive.

Funeral Services for Shirley Fields will be conducted on Saturday – July 18, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Randy Gwinn officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Joe Fields Cemetery located at Hazard, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be held at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
