Shirley Rae Ronnebaum born January 22, 1953 departed this life on Saturday – August 8, 2026 at her residence in Georgetown, Kentucky being 73-years old.  Shirley was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Ray Begley and the late Jean Fugate Begley.  Other than her parents, Shirley was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Adam Fugate and Billy Joe Begley; longtime partner, Jim Shelby; father of children, Robert Ronnebaum.  Shirley was a lifelong resident of Perry County, other than living in Georgetown for the last few years.  Shirley loved her family, her grandchildren brought her great joy.  She loved bingo and always enjoyed spending time with family & friends.  Shirley was a member of Town Mountain Baptist Church before moving to Georgetown in recent years.

Shirley Rae Ronnebaum leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: son, Robrert Charles Ronnebaum, Jr. of Hazard, KY; daughter, Rebecca Jean Ronnebaum Christy & Chad of Georgetown, KY; grandchildren, David Arnold McIntosh, Jr., Caden Ronnebaum, Shelly Dawn Collins, and Karen Taylor Ronnebaum; great-grandchildren, Dawson McIntosh and Houston McIntosh; special friend, Alvonda Ronnebaum; also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Shirley Ray Ronnebaum on Wednesday – August 12, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Portia Combs officiating.  The Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.
