Sidgel Ray Herald born May 21, 1969 departed this life on Thursday September 14, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 54-years old.  Sidgel was born in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Charles Ray Herald and the late Marie Hall Herald.  Other than his parents, Sidgel was also preceded in death by his daughter, April Robinson.  Sidgel enjoyed antiques, working with his many tools, and being the life of the party.

Sidgel Ray Herald leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: partner of 15-years, Faye Sandlin of Hazard; children, Jaina Sizemore of Buckhorn, Marlene Herald & Angel of Viper, and Angela Holtman & Desire of Hazard; step-children, Presley Fetters of California, KY, Melissa Fetters of Covington, KY, Tori Sandlin of Erlanger, Sierra Sandlin of Hazard, and Cameron Sandlin of Hazard; brother, Terry Herald of Berea; sisters, Melissa "Lisa" Herald & Charles of Berea and Irene Thacker of Bonifay, Florida; special niece, Christy Brown of Powell County; also a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Sidgel Ray Herald will be conducted on Monday September 18. 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Larry Gross officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Combs Cemetery located at Combs, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
