Suel Colwell born March 24, 1943 departed this life on Saturday April 29, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 80-years old. Suel was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Ben Colwell and the late Edna Colwell. Other than his Parents, Suel was also preceded in death by his Grandson, Zachary Scott; Brothers, Willie, Elmer, and Ronnie; Sisters, Geneva and Pauline; Niece, Cassandra; Nephew, Christopher.

Suel Colwell leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 57-years, Brenda Colwell; Sons, Clarence Colwell & Vivian, Christopher Colwell; Daughter, Connie Williams; Brothers, Troy Couch, Ray Couch, Kelly Colwell, Robert Colwell, Burchell Colwell, Harold Colwell, Jerry Colwell, Charlie Colwell; Sisters , Pokey, Joann, and Charlotte; Grandchildren, Brenda & Zeb, Jessica & Cody, Nikki & John, Heather & Jason, Theda & Teddy; Sixteen Great-Grandchildren, Nathan, Cager, Connie, Allison, Arizona, Zachary Scott, Maximus, Abrianna, John Luke, Darren, Lucas, Chrissy, Cheyenne, Trapper, Izabella, and Gabriel. A host of other relatives and friends survive .

Funeral Services for Suel Colwell will be conducted on Thursday May 4, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Krypton Brethren Church with Rev. B.J. Campbell officiating. The Interment will follow in the Hickory Gap Cemetery located at Busy, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Krypton Brethren Church on Wednesday evening after 6:00 P.M.
