Teresa Lane Collins age 73, passed away on December 27, 2025 at the Hazard A.R.H.  Teresa was born October 14, 1952 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Marvin Combs and the late Beuledith Cornett Combs.  Teresa lived life on her own terms.  She found comfort in quiet moments, good books, the company of animals, the beauty of horses, and the music she loved.  Those who were allowed into her small circle knew her loyalty, honesty, and deeply private way of caring.

Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Irvin Collins; parents, Marvin & Beuledith Combs; and her cherished K-9 companion, Candace, who had passed several years earlier.

Teresa Lane Collins leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: daughter, Holli Lane Combs of Lexington, Kentucky; her special friend, Judy Estep; and a small but meaningful circle of friends who understood and appreciated her unique spirit.

Teresa will be remembered for her independence, her love of animals and music, and her unwavering devotion to the few she held close.  Her presence will be deeply missed by those who truly knew her.

Visitation for Teresa Lane Collins will be held on Thursday – January 1, 2026 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Randy Johnson officiating.
