Thomas Edward Collett born October 28, 1944 departed this life on Friday July 26, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 79-years old. Thomas was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Collett and the late Agnes Couch Collett. Other than his parents, Thomas was also preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Knowland and Jennifer Goins. Thomas loved Detroit Tigers Baseball, Detroit Lions Football and watching the news and listening to all sorts of music.

Thomas Edward Collett leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: sisters, Margaret (Peggy) Collett of Hazard, Phyllis Luallen of Memphis, IN, Patricia Botkins of New Albany, IN, Linda Thompson of Hazard, Freda Whittle of Russell Springs, KY; special niece, Donna Goins Lewis of Hazard. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Thomas Edward Collett will be held on Monday July 29, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday July 29, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home. The Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery located at Jeff, Kentucky.
