Timothy Sexton born June 18, 1961 departed this life on Friday May 23, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice center in Hazard, Kentucky being 63-years old.  Timothy was born in Slemp, Kentucky the son of the late Homer Sexton and Bonnie Lou Sexton.  Other than his father, Timothy was also preceded in death by; maternal grandparents, Mack and Ritt Callahan; paternal grandparents, Howard and Lizzie Sexton.

Timothy was an outdoorsman; he loved fishing and the mountains.

Timothy Sexton leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: mother Bonnie Lou Sexton; wife, Wanda Sexton; sons, Logan Sexton(Haley), Trey Sexton; step sons, Ronnie Shane Baker, and Terry Coots; stepdaughter, Nicki Coots; sisters Deborah Callahan Manis, and Katrina Sexton; brothers, Rick Sexton(Vickie), Joshua Sexton, James Sexton, and Colson Cornett(Rossetta); also a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends survive.

Visitation for Timothy Sexton will be held on Wednesday at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2025 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Eddie Williams and Charles Bush officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Creekside Cemetery located at Hazard, Kentucky. Timothy's nephews and co-workers will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers Logan Sexton,Terry Allen, and Steven Cornett.
