Tipton Wyatt, age 76, of Ivel, Kentucky, passed away on July 21, 2025, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born on March 15, 1949, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to the late George and Hazel Music Wyatt.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Tipton served as Military Police in Giessen, Germany. After his military service, he had a successful career as a Senior Technical Representative for Xerox in Atlanta, Georgia, before retiring. He was married to Ruth Ann Heintzelman-Wyatt.
Tipton was preceded in death by his five siblings: Aubrey, David, George, Perry, and Jeanette Wyatt. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth Ann Heintzelman-Wyatt; one sister, Gloria Wyatt Bronston of Somerset, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation and a celebration of life service will be held at The Louis T. Foley Mission Center, at Christian Appalachian Project (CAP), 6134 KY-80, Martin, Kentucky, on August 23rd at 2 p.m.
