Tommy Gibson, born December 8, 1955 departed this life on Friday June 5, 2026 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center being 70-years old. Tommy was born in Hazard, Kentucky. The son of the late Ray Gibson and late Lula Gibson. Other than his parents, Tommy was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Gibson; brother, Jesse Gibson; sisters, Mary Ann Sumner, Judy Lawson, Irene Turner.

Tommy leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: daughters, Mamie Sullivan (Rodney Campbell), Lula Gibson (Claude Branson), Tammy Gibson (Steve Waddell); brother, Ernest Gibson (Sherry); sisters, Patty Pennington (Ed), Lisa Amburgey (James); granddaughters, Makayla Feltner (Wade),Cirara Branson, Zoe Waddell. Also a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends survive.

Celebration of Life for Tommy Gibson will be conducted on Monday – June 8, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home.  The Visitation will be held on Monday at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.
