Tony Darrell Gene "Dagwood" Campbell born January 10, 1949 departed this life on Monday July 10, 2023 at his residence in Jackson, Kentucky being 74-years old. Tony was born in Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late Colson Campbell and the late Gracie Noble. Other than his Parents, Tony was also preceded in death by his Wife, Judy Campbell; Son, Jimmy Campbell; Daughter, Betty Smith; Grandsons, Tony Campbell and Nathan Campbell; Brothers, Michael Dean, Bobby, Justine and Franklin D. Campbell. Tony loved racing, fishing, horses, and all of his family dearly. Tony was a Logger for the majority of his life and also hauled coal for several years.

A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Tony Darrell Gene "Dagwood" Campbell will be conducted on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. with Christine Dunn and Brian Overbee officiating. The Interment will follow in the Campbell Cemetery located at Grapevine, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 till 4:00 P.M.
