Vera Deaton born September 16, 1977 departed this life on Sunday May 5, 2024 at her residence in Chavies, Kentucky being 46-years old. Vera was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Earl; Deaton and the late Malvery Jones Deaton. Vera loved her baby dolls and barbie dolls, crafting, scrap books, and making bracelets.

Vera Deaton leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: sisters, Geneva Miller and Gary of Hazard and Suzanne Deaton and Heath Neace of Lost Creek; also, a host of other relatives and friends survive.

The Visitation for Vera Deaton will be conducted on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 6:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will follow on Friday at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Ken Miller officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Jones Cemetery located at Grapevine, Kentucky.
