Verda Diane McIntyre born July 5, 1960 departed this life on Wednesday – September 9, 2026 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center being 66-years old. Diane was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Calloway Feltner and the late Rosa Lee Lewis Feltner. Other than her parents, Diane was also preceded in death by her husband, Alger McIntyre; brothers, Utah Feltner, Calloway Feltner Jr., Anthony Feltner; sisters, Annetta Pratt and Paulette Smallwood. Diane enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, working in her flowers, fishing, and most of all she loved her family and adored her time with her grandchildren.

Verda Diane McIntyre leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: daughters, Andrea Jent & Randall of Viper, KY, Kaitlin Brooks & Zane of Whitesburg, KY and Danisha Adams & Eric of Bean Station, TN; sons, Brian Pratt of Knoxville, TN and Jason Pratt & Scott of Georgetown, KY; sisters, Yvonne Hamilton of Whitesburg, KY and Donna Coots of Slemp, KY; grandchildren, Lakelynn, Jace, Jordan, Jenna and Haley; great-grandchildren, Jax and Silas; also a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation for Verda Diane McIntyre will be held on Monday – September 14, 2026 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will follow on Monday at 7:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Kevin Couch officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at the W. McIntyre Memorial Cemetery located at Viper, Kentucky.
