Vickie Hubbard born March 11, 1949 departed this life on Friday – March 28, 2025 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky being 76-years old.  Vickie was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Hershel Coots and the late Lucy Shell Coots.  Other than her parents, Vickie was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ernie Coots and Calvin Coots; great-grandsons, Cody and Jordan.

Vickie was a storyteller, loved traveling, watching wildlife, and always made sure nobody left her house hungry.  Above all, Vickie loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with all of her heart and showed it everyday she lived.

Vickie Hubbard leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: daughters, Ann Sturgill & Timothy, Rosie Mullins, and Peggy Jones & Hardy all of Blackey; brothers, Elmer Coots of Viper, Randall Coots of Viper, Scotty Coots of Georgia, and Jeff Coots of Hazard; sisters, Dee Pratt of Hazard, Deb Howard of Viper, Inetta Caudill of Blackey, Hershella Coots of Viper, and Patsy Oliver of Hazard; grandchildren, Coco Roberson & Zack of Blackey, Breanna Adams & Chase of London, Flossy Jones & Mickey of Blackey, Brittany Mullins & Rodney of Blackey, and Zach Jones & Tasha of Blackey; great-grandchildren, Gabe, Lydia, River, Roman, Dagan, Rainey, Zoey, Riley, Journey, Remy, Lily, Avery, Bentley, Canaan, Haley, and Carter; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Vickie Hubbard will be conducted on Tuesday – April 1, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the Mount Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church in Blackey, Kentucky.  The Interment will follow in the Family Cemetery located at Blackey.  The Visitation will be at the Mount Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church on Monday – March 31, 2025 after 6:00 P.M. with additional services to be held at 7:00 P.M.
