Vickie Back Martin born August 20, 1950 departed this life on Saturday March 9, 2024 at her residence in Happy, Kentucky being 73-years old.  Vickie was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Francis Back and the late Eulanda Jones.  Other than her parents, Vickie was also preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Martin; son, Jeff Martin; sister, Sue Honeycutt and brother, Ricky Back.

Vickie had a passion for always helping others in time of need, she dedicated her life to helping others.  Vickie loved her kids and grandchildren so much, always supporting them in anyway she could.

Vickie Martin leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: son, Scott Martin; daughters, Robyn Martin and Pamela Martin; brother, Barry House; Sister, Nena Eddington; grandchildren, Hunter, Mason, Jeffery, and Lauren Scott; special nieces, Lavonna and Rhonda; special friend, Johnnie Faye Spurlock; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Vickie Martin will be conducted on Friday March 15, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M.  Funeral Service will follow on Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Larry Gross officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Francis Branch Cemetery located at Jeff, Kentucky.
