Virginia Sue Couch Born April 4, 1942 being 83 years old departed this life on July 1st 2025 at the Hazard Regional Medical Center.  Sue was born to the late John and Hazel Stubblefield of Combs, Kentucky. Other than her parents she was also preceded in death by her siblings Maude Angelini of Combs, Kentucky, John Stubblefield of Ohio, and Deanie Stubblefield of Texas; her husband of 65 years Shafter (Bug) Couch of Combs, Kentucky.

Sue leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory; daughter, Angie Walker of Hazard, Kentucky; two grandsons, Josh walker of Combs, Kentucky, Jeremy (Jade) Walker of Whitesburg, Kentucky, also a host of other relatives and friends to keep her memory alive.

Sue was a faithful member of the Combs Baptist Church in Combs, Kentucky for many years, she loved her church family.

Visitation will be Friday- July 4th 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home following by the Funeral Service at 12:00 P.M. with Kenny Smith Officiating.  Sue will be laid to rest by her husband of many years in the Combs Cemetery in Combs, Kentucky.
