Wallace "Woo" Melton, Jr. born February 1, 1964 departed this life on Thursday June 23, 2022 being 58-years old.  Wallace was born in Lothair the son of Nannie Fay Melton and the late Wallace Melton, Sr.  Other than his father, Wallace was also preceded in death by his Father-In-Law, Ray Combs and Brother-In-Law, Andy Ray Combs.  Wallace had 38-years & 6-months of service with Kentucky Power Company, working as a Servicer/Lineman.  Wallace loved and respected his job and family he had there, and his children and family.

Wallace "Woo" Melton, Jr. leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife, Crystal Melton of Viper; Daughter, Kristian Danielle Melton of Viper; Sons, Daniel Jakob Melton of Viper, and Wallace Melton III, and Joshua Wayne Melton; Mother, Nannie Fay Melton of Hazard; Mother-In-Law, Lydia Combs of Viper; Brother, Wayne Melton & Andrea of Hazard; Sister-In-Laws, Cindy Combs of Viper and Renee Tibbs of Knott County; Nieces, Amy Wilder & Eric and Tamara Asher & Brent; Special Family, Ellen Dobson & family; Special Brothers & Sisters he worked with at AEP; also a host of many other relatives and friends to cherish his memory.

Funeral Services for Wallace "Woo" Melton, Jr. will be conducted on Tuesday June 28, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Virgil Hurt and Calvin Williams officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Adams-Lewis Cemetery located at Viper, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
