Walter Sizemore born January 6, 1938 departed this life on Monday – March 24, 2025 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 87-years old.  Walter was born in Avawam, Kentucky the son of the late Harrison Sizemore and the late Ruby Smith Sizemore.  Other than his parents, Walter was also preceded in death by his brothers; James Oscar, William, Leonard and Freddy; sisters; Malta Sizemore, Martha Ellen Begley, and Addie Faye Baker.

Walter Sizemore leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: brother, John H. Sizemore of Hazard, KY; sisters, Susie Cornett of Bean Station, TN, Emma Campbell & Ronald of Florence, KY, Florence Crawford of Hazard, Deliah Akers & Willard of Louisville, KY, Sandra Marlowe & David of Hardburly, Wanda Sizemore & Sam of Hyden, KY and Harriett Gidwani of Manchester, KY; A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

A Memorial Service will be held for Walter Sizemore on Sunday – March 30, 2025 at 5:00 P.M. at the Avawam Pentecostal Church with Pastor James Cornett officiating.  The Visitation will be at the Avawam Pentecostal Church on Sunday – March 30, 2025 from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M.
