Wendell Taylor born January 24, 1958 departed this life on Monday- July 14, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center being 67-years old. Wendell was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Amos Taylor and the late Myrtle Taylor.  Other than his parents, Wendell was also preceded in death by his sisters Bula Lynn Williams, and Ima Jean Abner; brothers, Amos Taylor Jr., Ollis Glenn Taylor, Charles Taylor, Stanford J Taylor.

Wendell leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory; daughter, Ashley Taylor; brother, James Taylor; sisters, Linda Grigsby, Donna Haley, Marlene Biggers, Charlene Fugate, Nadine Hamilton; two grandchildren. Also, a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Merrill David Collins officiating.
