William Michael Moore II born November 24, 1986 departed this life on Thursday January 5, 2023 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, Kentucky being 36-years old.  Mike was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of William Michael Moore and Kathy Jean Whitaker.  Mike was preceded in death by his Brother, Michael Jeffery Moore; Maternal Grandfather, Edgar Whitaker; Paternal Grandparents, Hiram & Opal Moore; Uncles, John Moore and Gary Moore; Nephew, Tyler Patrick.

Mike worked at Walmart for 10 plus years, he enjoyed sports. Loved playing piano, drums, and singing.  Mike loved anything Elvis and hunting & fishing.

William Michael Moore II leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife, Felicia Moore of Hazard; Daughter, Amelia Rose Moore of Hazard; Son, Jaxon Thompson of Hazard; Mother, Kathy Jean Whitaker of Big Creek; Father, William Michael Moore of Mallie, KY; Sisters, Leah Combs & Jason of Viper and Michelle Patrick & Rex of Emmalena, KY; Maternal Grandmother, Sandra Whitaker of Big Creek; Uncles, Robert Moore, Jerry Whitaker, Jimmy Whitaker, and Randy Whitaker & Vickie; Aunts, Peggy Moore and Debbie Moore; Nephews, Connor Combs, Caleb Combs, and Trey Patrick; Niece, Brooke Francway; Special Friends, Scott Napier and Daniel Madden; also a host of cousins, great-aunts & uncles, and many other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  The Funeral service will be on Thursday January 12, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Big Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Bailey and Daniel Madden officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery located at Polly Hollow in Big Creek, Kentucky.  The following will serve as pallbearers, Connor Combs, Caleb Combs, Trey Patrick, Eric Whitaker and Zack Fields.  In Lieu of flowers donations may be made towards the funeral expenses.
