William Jack Pratt born June 25, 1942 departed this life on Monday March 11, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 81-years old.  Jack was born in Cornettsville, Kentucky the son of the late Ernest Pratt and the late Maerine Fields Pratt.  Other than his parents, Jack was also preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Pratt and brother, Joe Pratt.

William Jack Pratt was a member of the Hazard Masonic Lodge #676, Krypton Masonic Lodge #905, El Hasa Shrine Temple, and Hillbilly Clan #31.  Jack was a member of the Leatherwood High School Basketball team, where he was chosen in 1961 on the Courier-Journal All State Honorable Mention team.

William Jack Pratt leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife of 42 years, Helen Pratt of Hazard, KY; Children, Kenneth Ray Pratt & Nora of Busy, Tabatha Lynn Collins & Ray of Hazard, and Eric Thomas Pratt & Adrian of Chavies; sister, Janis Pratt Davis of New Salisbury, Indiana; grandchildren, Brandon Neil Pratt of Corbin, William Pratt of Busy, Tyler Collins of Lexington, Mattie Goins & Draven of Lexington, Hannah Bernice Pratt & Axel of Chavies, Haylee Marie Pratt & Dillon of Hazard, Addyson Lynn Pratt of Chavies, and Eric Thomas Pratt, Jr. of Chavies; great-grandchild, Jace Pratt; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for William Jack Pratt will be held on Wednesday March 13, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. with Masonic Rites to be conducted at 7:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 14, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Chris Sale and Brian Bridges officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery located at Jeff, Kentucky.  The following will serve as Pallbearers, Tyler Collins, William Pratt, Dillon Hoskins, Axel Smallwood, Draven Goins, and Brandon Pratt.
